‘Commit (I act)’, is one piece in a series of chakra paintings inspired by my passion for Kundalini Yoga. The third chakra, Manipura, meaning lustrous gem, is located at the solar plexus, the centre for power in the body. I felt bees were the perfect creature to represent the sense of this chakra, will power, commitment, focus, action and … they’re yellow! The original painting is 16″ x 20″

From a chakra series of oil paintings called ‘Mantras for Manifesting’ themed around the essence of each chakra as it relates to manifesting a beautiful, abundant life. ‘I Am Powerful’ is the 3rd chakra design, the solar plexus, Manipura, meaning lustrous gem. Located at the solar plexus, the centre for power in the body, the sense of this chakra, is will power, commitment, focus, & action.
