Journey through the Dreamtime’ was inspired by the first green growth of Spring. I’m always appreciating the Divine intelligence reflected through nature and the power of the life force to burst forth and thrive.
I was inspired to create an image for a dad gift and I thought of Bear. Strong and gentle.
I love the journey of the painting unfolding from one idea into a whole world, step by step.
I feel I learned so much about Bear just from looking at photos and observing how they move and especially the expression in their eyes – very intelligent and sensitive.
The original image is from my 30″ x 36″ water mixable oil on canvas painting from 2023.
