The ‘Two-gether’ Valentine’s series was inspired by a curiosity of animals that mate for life. I wanted to express the qualities of the bonded pair within their partnership – love, support, sharing the work of life tasks, appreciation, care. This series has been such a pleasure to create, learning about these animal pairs and looking at lots of lovely pictures to bring together the perfect image to express this sweetness.
I’d never heard of this animal until I started searching. It’s a miniature antelope from Africa, with cartoon huge eyes and a heart shaped nose! I am in love!
